Galactic Earth
Watercolor on paper
In this watercolor, the Earth represents the heart of a woman. Because Earth is the only known planet that supports life, it symbolizes the heart as the essential organ that sustains a human being. The woman's hair is depicted as water, emphasizing Earth’s water-rich composition and its dependence on water.
